| Next European Board exam in ORL. Barcelona July 2011 |
Dear candidates,
The next European Board Exam in ORL for which you have all registered is now approaching.
The date is the Saturday 2nd July 2011 in Barcelona. The exam will be held at the CCIB Convention Center. You can see the center by entering their web page. Visit the following link
On the day of the exam you should go to ROOM 112 on the 1st floor.
The time schedule for the exam is as follows:
1) 09.30-09.45 hours: Registration of candidates in room 112 on the first floor. You should take your ID or passport to the exam. You will be registered and given an envelope with your name and candidate number written on it (please check that you have the correct envelope otherwise you will be doing someonelse“s exam). This envelope MUST remain closed till the staff in the room tells you to open the envelope. You will be asked to take a seat for the exam in one of the chairs prepared for the ocassion, each seat will have an answer sheet (electronic answer sheets), a pencil and an eraser and pencil sharpener. If you are missing any of these elements please ask the staff for it.
2) 09.45-10.00 hours: All candidates will be instructed by the staff on the rules of the exam and you will be given instructions regarding the filling of the answer sheet which you should follow before starting the exam.
3) 10.00-13.00 hours: The exam will be carried out. EBEORL-HNS staff will be present at all times in the room for any questions you have during the exam. At 13.00 hours ALL candidates should have finished the exam and should have handed out the answer sheets and the exam. Each exam has the name of the candidate and the number written on it and ALL exams should be handed out before leaving the room. NO EXAMS ARE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE ROOM!!! If any exam is missing, the candidate“s exam could be invalidated by the board.
When the exams has finished, the Board will meet in order to perform the Angoff procedure and set up the passing mark for the exam. This is a standard procedure worldwide accepted and very fair for examinees.
The results will be published in the candidate“s personal area and will be available for each candidate (entering with their username and password) from the 14th July onwards. A list of all candidates that have passed (not of their individual scores) will be published on the website at the end of July.
