   Appeal process

The examiner’s decision is final and the result of the examination cannot be changed.

The process for managing the borderline candidate has been outlined and the candidates cannot compensate between tables in the Oral Examination.

A mark of 9 or below in any table means a complete failure independent of the marks obtained in the other 2 tables.

The candidates MCQ mark is taken into consideration and if satisfactory the borderline candidate may pass.

Candidates that fail the exam receive written feedback regarding their performance in the different tables and can make a written appeal within 30 days to the board for further feedback. A mail sent to mmota@ebeorl-hns.org will be forwarded to the Board for their analysis.

The results are individual for each table and there is no considered cumulative passmark.

Candidates are invited to feedback on the examination and the process.
